Wynn Las Vegas
- Wynn Las Vegas is among the top three best Las Vegas Hotels, as voted by Travel + Leisure readers in the Worldâs Best Awards survey for 2025.
- Booking a stay in the Tower Suites offers guests an elevated experience, featuring a private entrance, exclusive pool, and personalized service.
- At the supper club Delilah, guests can sip on rare, hard-to-find wines, and enjoy fantastic live entertainment.
- Both Wynn and Encore have dedicated spa areas, beauty salons, and gyms, totaling 106,000 square feet dedicated to wellness.
- Attending one of Wynnâs Connoisseur Series events is like stepping into a luxury-fueled live masterclass, with experiences ranging from exclusive wine dinners to the resortâs Revelry culinary festival.
What I have always loved about Wynn Las Vegas is the grand sense of arrival. Whether you enter through the resortâs main gate off Las Vegas Boulevard and are greeted by the giant, 16-foot-tall Smiling King Bear sculpture by contemporary Spanish artist Okuda San Miguel, the southern Wynn Tower Suites conservatory lined with Chinese lanterns and koi ponds, or the Encore Tower Suites lobby reminiscent of a regal boudoir-meets-Gatsby jungle, you know you are at Wynn.
Beyond the lobbies, the gaming floors in each tower also offer distinctâand equally lavishâexperiences. The Wynn side features gleaming marble floors inlaid with intricate Italian floral mosaics, while Encore is accented with butterfly motifs. Dining and entertainment options abound, too: 23 restaurants, nine bars, three shopping promenades, two theaters, XS Nightclub, Encore Beach Club, and separate McLaren and Pagani supercar dealerships.
Wynn Las Vegas
In early 2026, Wynn Las Vegas will unveil an outpost of the exclusive New York City membersâ club Zero Bond, offering stunning views of a 35-foot waterfall that stretches across 100 feet of the 18th fairway on the resortâs Tom Fazio-designed golf course. While the clubâs waiting list is already significant, all Wynnâand Las Vegasâguests will have the chance to experience a taste of what Zero Bond founder Scott Sartiano has created at Sartianoâs, a modern Italian restaurant, helmed by three-time James Beard Award winner Alfred Portale.
As Wynn Las Vegas enters its third decade, its accommodations feel fresher than ever. This revitalization owes much to the expertise of the resortâs in-house design and development team. When the 45-story, 2,716-room hotel debuted in 2005, lead designer Roger Thomas opted for a theatrical jewel-toned palette, featuring cobalt blue, lacquer red, deep persimmon, chartreuse silk, espresso woods, and gold leaf accents. The spaces echoed the glamour and spectacle of Las Vegas at its most iconic.
Today, under the direction of Todd-Avery Lenahan, the focus is on refining rather than reinventing.
In 2022, a $200 million overhaul of the original Wynn Tower introduced quieter hues and tailored textures that feel current yet enduring. Next comes Encore. Brian Gullbrants, chief operating officer of Wynn Resorts, shared exclusively with Travel + Leisure that the Encore tower âwill undergo its own [transformation] next year,â continuing the evolution of Wynnâs signature style.
Here is everything you need to know about Wynn Las Vegas, one of the best hotels in Las Vegas, according to T+L readers.
The Rooms
Wynn and Encore Las Vegas offer two distinct experiences. The Resort Tower houses the majority of the propertyâs rooms, while the Tower Suites, a hotel within a hotel, offers a more rarified experience, featuring private entrances and lobbies, an exclusive pool, and priority access throughout the resort.
For years, I chose to stay in the newer 2,034-room Encore Tower, preferring the larger accommodations and art deco decor. These guest rooms range in size from an impressive 745-square-foot standard room to a 5,829-square-foot, two-story, three-bedroom apartment, complete with massage and media rooms. Guests looking to visit XS Nightclub, Encore Beach Club, or the hotelâs poker rooms will also appreciate the proximity to these amenities. However, following the $200-million renovation of the Wynn Tower and its 2,700 guest rooms and suites, Iâve found myself more drawn to it.
Rooms there start at 640 square feet and are designed to evoke a sense of âromantic drama,â according to Lenahan. The color palette is soft and serene, featuring blush and peach tones that reflect the desert landscape. These are beautifully contrasted by black and white prints by Josef Albers, along with vibrant pops of color. The spaces are adorned with a mixture of natural woods, metal, mirrors, couture drapery, and textured coverings. Furniture includes rich mahogany dressers, desks, and swivel chairs.
I recently spent a night in the swanky Wynn Tower Suites King Room, which featured a Dyson hairdryer, a floor-to-ceiling dressing mirror, a chandelier, and a four-poster bed. Guests seeking more space will find that the Executive, Parlor, and Salon Suites, topping out at 1,817 square feet, offer a more lavish experience. Elements like camel-bone trunks, leather-wrapped tables, rosewood cabinets gilded with copper leaf, bas-reliefs, and framed televisions create a much grander presentation. As the rooms increase in size (and nightly rate), the artworks also become more over-the-top, featuring museum-worthy sculptures like Rodinâs Bather.
After my night in the Wynn Tower Suites, I moved to the resortâs newly renovated Fairway Villas. These 34 residences, tucked along Wynn Golf Clubâs 18th green, are spread across three levels and range in size from 2,411 square feet for a one-bedroom to 3,224 square feet for a two-bedroom villa. Guests arrive via a private drive and are met by a butler who is ready to unpack their wardrobe, press their clothes, and remain on hand 24 hours a day throughout their stay. My butler even secured a last-minute reservation at the celebrity hot-spot Delilah and arranged for an in-villa dim sum brunch.
Food and Drink
With 23 restaurants and nine bars, Wynnâs food and beverage operation is nothing short of extraordinary. Chris Lee, vice president of culinary operations and restaurant development, says that the resortâs bake shop alone churns out âover 12,000 loaves of handmade bread daily, offering 120 varieties.â In addition, Wynn harvests its own herd of American Wagyu from Grazing Star Farms and breaks down primals in its in-house butcher shop. It also sources seafood from Japanese, Mediterranean, and Antarctic waters that are flown in daily. The resort operates its own chocolate shop and patisserie to further support its culinary program and produce massive showpieces.
For breakfast, I loved the overnight oats, along with lox and bialys at Tableau, a Parisian-inspired conservatorium tucked inside Wynnâs Towers Suites, painted in the precise hue of green found at the Petit Trianon chĂąteau on the grounds of the Palace of Versailles. Alternatively, Jardin at Encore provides a more continental daytime experience. The nearby Terrace Point CafĂ©âfronted by a wooden Eiffel chandelier crafted by Gustave Eiffel himself in 1918âoffers a relaxed poolside experience. Just down the hall is La Cave, featuring an all-you-can-eat tray-passed brunch that transitions into a wine bar with shareable plates come nightfall.
When it comes to fine dining, options include the Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse, a limited-run pop-up in collaboration with Yellowstoneâs Taylor Sheridan, which is arguably the most popular meat house in the city. If youâre lucky enough to score a table, donât miss the brisket lasagna, wedge salad topped with burnt ends and dredged in buttermilk, as well as the Texas Twinkie, a smoky brisket-and-cheddar-stuffed jalapeño wrapped in bacon.
Casa Playa is another highlight, where chef Sarah Thomas, a finalist in this yearâs Best Chef Southwest category for the James Beard Awards, creates ethereal moles and exquisite coastal Mexican cuisine. Donât miss her vegan squash tamale with mole verde and Thai basil, truffle-topped maitake mushrooms in mole blanco, and crisped tilefish.
Deliah offers an exceptional vibe and employs another current James Beard finalist, Cristie Norman. Naturally, Norman and team fuel this 1920s-inspired speakeasy with an expressive program that includes every imaginable cult wine, including Screaming Eagle, which guests can order by the glass here. However, given how popular Deliah is, I suggest booking a table here as soon as you book your flight.
Mere feet from Deliah is Wing Lei, the first Chinese eatery to be awarded a Michelin star in North America. This jewel-box space contains one-hundred-year-old pomegranate trees and is well known for its live seafood and Peking duck preps.
When it comes to drinks, Wynnâs bar program, overseen by master mixologist Mariena Mercer Boarini, is unrivaled. Overlook Lounge offers a cozy retreat, with its eglomise-topped tables, crystal-cut cabaret lanterns, Murano and Czech chandeliers, and sculptures of Bunnyfish. All this is canopied under a hand-painted ceiling inspired by Englandâs Brighton Pavilion. Those in the know order Overlook Loungeâs only off-menu cocktail, the matador, served in a martini goblet with the handle of an actual antler.
Activities and Experiences
Barbara Kraft/Wynn Las Vegas
Steve Wynn often likened building a Las Vegas resort to a mousetrap, saying, âYou donât want to give the guest a reason to leave.â Wynn Las Vegas certainly lives up to its founderâs philosophy, offering an array of world-class amenities designed to keep you on-site from sunrise to sunset.
The resort features the Stripâs only 18-hole, par-70 golf course, designed by Tom Fazio. Whether youâre a seasoned golfer or just want to enjoy a leisurely round, the course provides lush greenery, cascading waterfalls, and stunning views.
For those seeking fun in the sun, Wynn has five pools, including a European-style bathing experience at Encore and a separate pool reserved for Tower Suites guests. Entertainment is always at your fingertips, starting with two spectacular show venuesâWynn Theater and the Encore Theater.
For a more high-energy nightlife experience, XS Nightclub is the place to be. Hosting top-tier DJs and performers like The Chainsmokers and Marshmello, this world-famous nightclub delivers an electric atmosphere whether youâre partying on the dance floor or enjoying bottle service in a booth.
The Connoisseur Series provides guests with the opportunity to attend exclusive, high-end events. This series includes everything from wine dinners hosted by the Screaming Eagle estate manager, Armand de Maigret, to Wynnâs annual culinary festival, Revelry.
The Spa
Barbara Kraft/Wynn Las Vegas
Wynn Las Vegas offers two distinct spa spaces, each with its own gym and salon.
For me, The Spa at Wynn is a sanctuary in the heart of the Strip. Its relaxation room is one of the prettiest spaces in the cityâthink serene lighting, plush seating, and an atmosphere that wraps you in calm the moment you walk in. Among the standout treatments, the Restorative Arnica Massage combines the anti-inflammatory properties of arnica with deep tissue techniques for a muscle-melting experience. Meanwhile, the Samadhi Enlightenment treatment takes relaxation to a higher level, incorporating singing bowls, Ayurvedic massage, and chakra alignment. Itâs the perfect break from the energy of the casinos, offering a moment of true peace. Additionally, for those looking to rehydrate after experiencing all Las Vegas has to offer, thereâs a Clean Market IV Drip Lounge.
Over at The Spa at Encore, the experience is no less decadent. The aesthetic here is etherealâgold lanterns line the path to the treatment rooms, and natural light floods the space, creating an ambiance of total tranquility. For those looking to truly indulge, book the Journey to Euphoria, a 105-minute treatment that features a four-handed massage and exfoliation by two therapists. Itâs the kind of treatment that makes you forget youâre even on the Strip, offering the ultimate in luxury and relaxation.
Family-friendly Offerings
Wynn Las Vegas
While Wynn Las Vegas skews toward grown-up luxury, families will still find thoughtful accommodations and experiences throughout the resort.
Many room categories offer guaranteed connecting configurations, particularly within the Wynn Tower and Encore Tower Suites, making it easy to expand into a multi-bedroom suite layout. The resortâs signature production, âAwakening,â is also a fun entertainment option for families with older children. Built around light, color, and movement, the show is recommended for ages five and up, and guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Most on-site restaurants welcome children, though age guidelines vary. For pool time, families will be most comfortable at the Wynn Resort Pool.
Sustainability and Accessibility
In 2023, Wynn diverted 41 percent of its waste from landfills, a historic record for the resort. The company also powered its North American properties with 29 percent renewable energy, part of a broader strategy to achieve energy independence and move closer to a goal of becoming net-zero by 2050. Wynnâs commitment to giving back to the community is equally strong, with employees donating more than $1 million to the Wynn Resorts Foundation in 2023, marking it the highest fundraising year in the companyâs history.
The resort offers a variety of accessible room options tailored to different needs. The Tub Access Room features a lowered bathtub with a grab bar for easy access, along with a wheelchair-friendly sink, a toilet with a hand bar, and a lowered peephole. The Hearing Accessible Room features strobe lights for emergency alerts and offers the option to request a Hearing Assistive Technology Kit, which includes a teletypewriter for phone communication and a vibrating bed shaker alarm. The Roll-In Shower Room features a low-threshold roll-in shower, an in-shower chair, handrails, and ample space for mobility. There is also the Super Accessible Room, featuring a ceiling lift system to move the guest between the bedroom and bathroom, along with a remote-controlled adjustable hospital-style bed and a roll-in shower equipped with a chair and handrails. The room also features a pull-out couch, along with a lowered minibar.
Wynn also provides additional accessibility resources such as toilet seat height risers, knock light adaptors, portable shower chairs, and portable toilet chairs.
Location
Wynn Las Vegas enjoys a prime position at the northern end of the Strip. The resort is conveniently located near the Las Vegas Convention Center and The Venetian Convention Center, making it an ideal base for business travelers. If youâre here for leisure, youâre just a short distance from Resorts World, The Venetian, and the Fontainebleau Resort.
The Sphere has reshaped the cityâs skyline and is quite literally in Wynnâs backyard. Ticketed guests can seamlessly walk through Wynnâs convention spaces, with a direct route leading to shows and events at The Sphere.
For those looking to explore more of the city, Wynn is just a short ride from Chinatown as well as downtown Las Vegas and the cityâs burgeoning arts district.
