If I do want to smooth things out, a few minutes in the dryer always does the trick. These are not safe to iron, according to the care instructions, but they can be washed in cold water and tumble dried on low heat, so caring for them is as easy as I could ask for.

And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the two functional—I repeat, functional—side pockets that are deep enough to hold your phone.

A good pair of slacks is hard to come by, but I couldn’t ask for a better option than these wide-leg pants from Quince. Flattering, versatile, and oh-so-comfortable, they’re a staple in my closet. I love that they can be dressed up or down and are so easy to care for, considering the high-quality fabric and design.
